Our best selling men's bag this year made in a very LIMITED EDITION. We start with two amazing Horween leathers. The large panels are built from horsehide fronts and the trim and accent pieces are made from their most famous leather, Shell Cordovan. Horween is considered to be one of the worlds most experienced and respected tanneries of Shell Cordovan and Horsehide.
The Horsehide leather has been pit-tanned, using techniques developed by Horween of Chicago since in 1905. A 30 day vegetable tannage is followed by conditioning with tallow, lanolin, and beeswax. The resulting leather is supple, strong, and very dense.
The horsehide is incredibly durable with an amazing sheen and smell. The hides are pit-tanned like Shell Cordovan but not quite as long. We used Shell Cordovan to enhance the appearance and strengthen in handles, loops and accent pieces. The Top-Zip Backpack is our exclusive design with an easy-access zipper flap that opens extra-wide. This version uses two very cool Italian made locking clasps. Simply roll the brass wheel and the clasp is locked for extra-security. The inside has multiple pockets and padded back snap panel to accommodate up to a 15" laptop. A great business or travel backpack that will last a lifetime.
