Our American Bison Garment Leather
What better leather to use for vests and jackets than Genuine American Bison leather, maybe the finest leather available today. America’s original leather and a quintessential part of America’s history, the American Bison represents the unbridled freedom of our great country.
Our Bison Garment Leather is a 1.2-1.4mm (3.5-4oz.) full-grain, chrome-tanned leather with a little oil to give it a full hand. The hides are slightly shrunken to give a natural, pronounced pebble-grain finish. It has a nice drape while remaining extremely tough and bold.
Bison Hides & Characteristics
Please note that these hides are a natural, naked tannage. This along with the fact that scarring and markings are much more prevalent on Bison hides gives the leather true character. This is part of what makes Bison products truly unique, no two hides are alike. Most Bison hides will have some visible scarring and/or other natural range markings. Please consider this when ordering Bison products.

Great. I'm glad I found CoronadoLeather and the many fine products. You don't need to live on a ranch. This vest will fit in with all but the most dressy occasions. It will serve in place of a sweater, plus the added bonus or many pockets. Bison(buffalo) skin is tough. It served the Native Americans and the early white settlers in many ways. I like mine because of the pockets but more is the fact that I can snap the snaps and that puts the end to a bitting wind. I can only recommend this, no hesitation.

Five stars for a quality garment.
Three stars for concealment.
Concealment is limited to a small frame pistol such as my S&W airweight 38 2" barrel. Compact semi-auto Sig P250 9mm 3" barrel prints too much to conceal with vest closed. There may be some smaller caliber sub-compact semi autos that would work.

The quality is undeniably the best I have ever seen in a vest, much less one designed for concealment. This is an outstanding product!
