I purchased my first stealth pack in 1995 as an experimental option to a conventional holster in the warm New Mexico climate. I was never able to find a holster that worked well with summer clothing for off duty carry. The nylon tactical stuff sold in catalogs and at gun shows were so obvious as gun bags that they were no improvment over a regular holster. I have since purchased two other stealth packs over the years in different colors and in bison.
I have never had anyone even ask or speculate that it was a concealed carry device, including experienced LEO's who had no idea who I was or that I was also a LEO. The stealth pack is definitely the way to go for warm weather carry.
