Our History

Established in 1981 by Carol and Danny Laulom, Coronado Leather began with just two skilled sewers, a cutter and a handful of leather bags. Sometime in the mid 80’s we began making concealed-carry waistpacks for local police officers. That lead us into our concealed-carry handbags for female officers and eventually grew into a complete line of specialty, high-quality concealed-carry leather for law enforcement and responsible citizens. We now offer more than forty firearm concealment products for law enforcement officers and individuals seeking safe and responsible self-protection, as well as products that as handfuls of products that are just Steeped in a tradition of excellence and commitment to quality crossing two generations, Coronado Leather has become a leader and innovater in concealed-carry leatherware and premium-made leathergear since 1981. We have a strong passion for leather and the old-art of real craftsmanship. We truly strive to make a products that are better and stronger than most of what is available today. We feel that true value in any product lies in design, materials and craftsmanship rather than the price, and that is where we exceed our competitors.

Our Products

Since 1981 Coronado Leather has been designing and hand-crafting higher-quality leather-gear and innovate concealed-carry leatherware. We currently offer a complete line of leatherware in speciality hides such as American Bison, English Bridle, Goatksin, Deerskin and Chromexcel Oil leathers. Our passion for leather, design and attention to detail is the driving force behind what we do today. Our styles and designs are classic, functional and straight-forward. We don’t over-embelish our products with hardware to hide our stitching, we keep the focus on better leathers, better designs and better craftsmanship. Today

Today, more than thirty-years later, we are still located in San Diego, California. In 2011, we began to proudly manufacture several of our products in our NEW San Diego factory and leather-shop. Our USA made products are the best-of-the-best. With both modern and vintage leather machinery and a lot of hand-crafting, we are building some of the finest leather products you will find anywhere in the world. The Coronado Leather brand name remains synonymous with Quality, Style and Innovation, with a broad line of higher-quality, handcrafted leathergoods.
