COVID-19 IN OUR SHOP
Our first priority is the health and safety of the men and women that work in our shop. We currently have about (16) people working in our San Diego Leather Shop. We manufacture products for Law Enforcement and other public service companies, so we can qualify as an "Essential Business". We have taken the necessary precautions to our crew with gloves, sanitizers and splitting shifts to keep employees further apart.
We believe that we can help the people we employ by carrying on. They are working less hours, but as long as we have orders we will do our part to keep our employees working to feed their families.
ARE YOUR SHIPPING ORDERS & MANUFACTURING PRODUCTS ?
Yes. Our "Customer Service & Shipping" departments are working on a "reduced schedule" but they are working. All emails are replied to, we are managing phone calls daily and shipping and receiving daily.
Our manufacturing teams are working daily in the San Diego shop. The shifts are split and hours have been reduced, but we are building products Monday - Friday right now.
ARE ORDERS DELAYED & WHAT ABOUT MY BACK-ORDER ?
The only unexpected delays we are experiencing this month are in our "Stone-Washed" products (read below). All other products are moving through our normal production schedules with slight delays due to limited production hours. If an item is on "Back Order" we will build it as we normally would with a slightly longer delay. STONE-WASHED PRODUCTS
Our Stone-Washed products are some of our best-selling collections. Our partner is based in Los Angeles, CA and they are quite large (200+ employees). They wash for just about every large West Coast denim brand. They are currently shut-down as a "non-essential business". We have been speaking with them and it appears they expect to re-open at the end of April.
Our stone-washed products are built in San Diego then we drive them to Los Angeles for the "Washing". We are giving customers the option to take any of the stone-washed products "un-washed" for now and they can be returned to us at a later date for the "stone-washing". If you opt for this, we will cover the shipping cost and we will need the product for 7-10 days max.
