The Americana Messenger is the ultimate old-world messenger bag with modern design details. Built in our San Diego leather shop from Horween® vegetable tanned leather, solid brass hardware and exceptional handcrafted American craftsmanship. 

Details include two front brass turn-lock closures, a steel reinforced top flap/handle to maintain the structure, a traditional leather bound flap and combination thread details to give the Americana Messenger a vintage look. The divided interior has a reinforced snap compartment for your laptop or tablet, leather pen loops, a business card slot, a 6" wide zipper compartment and our signature key-locking CCW pocket.

100% designed & built in USA from premium Horween® vegetable tanned leather. Finished with hand-stained edges, a full leather shoulder Horween® belt-style shoulder strap, our lifetime warranty and an internal foil embossed, unique 9-digit serial#.

    HORWEEN® DUBLIN STEERHIDE

    Tanned In Chicago, IL Since 1905 

    Horween® has been tanning leather in Chicago since 1905. They are truly artisans of their craft with more than a century of experience. We are honored and proud to offer Horween® leathers and consider them friends. 

    Horween® Dublin is 100% tanned and finished in Chicago. The hides are vegetable tanned infused with a rich blend of natural waxes and higher oil content. The leather has a unique "antiqued" appearance with a pull-up effect that creates a natural and slightly rugged, masculine look. Over time, the leather will naturally burnish to a rich patina that will enhance the appearance of the leather. Dublin is used in all of our Americana Collection as well as our Stone-Washed products. Not only are the hides tanned in Chicago but each product is built in our San Diego, California workshop.
