The Shelby Vest is a vintage inspired design with roots from the RAF (Royal Air Force) in the 1950-70's. Our version has some unique design details, such as a full wind-flap cover and our signature CCW pockets.
A slightly fuller cut vest with a back length that extends below the belt, more like a jacket. The Front patch pockets are secured with brass snaps and side hand-warmer entry. The front is double secured with a full-length brass zipper and a snap-down wind flap to keep you warm and the stand up collar is short enough NOT to rub against your face but tall enough to keep the wind off your neck. Built with a total of (11) unique pockets (6 outside & 5 inside), including our signature CCW pockets and holster. A full-length front Ykk USA brass zipper makes the No. 209 more like a jacket than a vest and a great travel companion.
DARK MAHOGANY "PULL-UP" STEERHIDE
A New Leather for Spring/Summer 2024, purchased as a LIMITED EDITION and not guaranteed to be available again. A smooth grain pull-up steerhide in a mid-weight (3-3.5oz.). The hides are tanned in a handsome, dark mahogany color with a light pull-up effect. You will see light tones in the folds and creases and the temper is soft to medium with a good stand-up but not stiff. A great vest leather and one we will not likely have again in 2024.
