LIFETIME Warranty, Repairs & Returns


We love building products a lot more than repairing them!  That’s why we design and build each and every Coronado Leather product to last.  We want the product to give you years or decades of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the product. 

We believe in our craftsmanship and stand behind our work, but things happen.  In some cases there may be general wear & tear, your dog may have chewed up a strap or a small critter may have tore a hole in your those cases we can offer reasonable repair charges or offer you a 50% trade-In for a replacement.  

The product must have been purchased from us directly or an AUTHORIZED Retailer and there are a few limitations on synthetics (fabric liners & nylon zippers are warrantied for 3-years), but we can usually repair those issues at a reasonable cost. 


This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, normal wear, fire, theft, loss, or intentional damage.

  1. Return your damaged product directly to the Coronado Leather Service Center along with a note explaining the problem.
  2. If your product falls under the LIFETIME WARRANTY as stated above, please state whether you would like the product repaired/replaced or if you would prefer to use our TRADE-IN PROGRAM and choose a brand new product of your choice. This would require payment of 50%of the retail cost of the product.
  3. If evidence indicates that the product was damaged due to an accident, normal wear and tear, neglect or we are unable to repair the product, we will advise you of the additional cost to repair or replace the product.
  4. You should send the product freight prepaid and insured, to the address below. Please include a check or credit-card# for $15.00 to cover return shipping and handling within the USA. International customers are responsible for the actual return shipping and insurance charges. 

If you have a Coronado product that needs major repairs such as zippers and/or linings, you can opt for or we may offer a trade-in for your item with a 50% DISCOUNT applied to the new replacement item. You will need to send the item back to us with your shipping address and contact information, along with a request to TRADE-IN for a comparable but not necessarily the exact product. We cannot guarantee that your same product will be available, but you may opt for a different item and still receive the same discount. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase at Coronado Leather. We will gladly accept and offer a full refund for any purchase that meets the following requirements:

  • The product was shipped within the last (30) days
  • The product is in its original condition and can be re-stocked
  • The product was not a SPECIAL SALE item
  • The product was not a PIONEER SHOPPE pre-sale item

If the product was purchased as a PIONEER SHOPPE Pre-Sale, we cannot offer a refund without prior approval. The PIONEER products are discounted and made-to-order to minimize inventory. If the product was purchased in our PIONEER SHOPPE please contact us to inquire about a Return, Exchange or CLC Store Credit.

We will inspect the product upon receipt and if it meets the above requirements a refund will go back to the same card or method of payment within 72-hours of receipt. If we have any questions on the return, we will contact you. 

  • Package the product and include a copy of your order or you can simply place a note with the order# and/or your name and best contact email and phone#
  • Please note whether you would like a REFUND, REPLACEMENT, SIZE EXCHANGE, STORE CREDIT or other 
  • Ship with your preferred carrier and note your tracking information for records
