The Austin Duffel No.007 is a classic and timeless shape that we have been making for more than two decades. The size and design makes it a versatile piece that can be used in so many ways (gym bag, overnight bag, weekender). It is carry-on compliant and large enough to pack for a long weekend.
Features include one front and two side open pockets, a 14" inside zipper pocket, two heavy-duty reinforced handles and a full-length and adjustable "guitar-style" shoulder strap.

This version is made from Horween® Chromexcel® in black with black trim. Chromexcel® is the original pull-up leather from Horween® in Chicago. A rich and smooth, hot stuffed steerhide that is one of Horween's most famous leathers. Tanned in Chicago since 1905. You can read more about Horween® Chromexcel below.
The Austin Duffel is not only built in the US but both the leather are tanned in the US at the famous Horween® tannery in Chicago, IL.

Designed & Built In USA - Produced by Horween® for over 90 years, Chromexcel® has used the same artisanal hot-stuffing formula to infuse these leathers with an oil and wax blend to create an extremely rich and durable leather, which is then hand-stained. This heritage leather features the natural leather grain, exhibits a rich pull-up, and retains softness and color for generations.
The hides we use are a combination of a 5/6oz and 8/9oz weight. The bark retannage is a proprietary recipe. They are genuine hot stuffed with a blend of natural oils and greases making this leather sleek, crisp and really unique.
