Designed and built as a full-size duffel for a 3-5 day trip, depending how you pack, but sized to fit in most airlines carry-on bins. The two carry handles are reinforced to avoid stretching and a made with a snap-over handle wrap to improve comfort. They are built extra-tough with three hand-set brass rivets on each side (12 total), to handle maximum weight. We hand-cut the two faces panels from one piece of Horween® leather on each side, no seams or pockets for a clean and refined look. The bottom is reinforced between the liner and three large leather feet are sewn down to protect the base of the bag. We include our most comfortable and widest "guitar style" strap that tapers to 2" wide at the top and is lined with our nubuck belt leather. Just a few of many unique and refined details that set the Americana Duffel No.205 in a category of it's own.

The #205 Duffel is an exclusive design and a signature duffel silhouette made since 2005. The #205 Duffel is a heirloom quality luggage pice that you can expect to hand down for generations.

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop. It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory. We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

The Leather

Built from a full-grain (5-6oz.) Horween® vegetable tanned leather. Our Horween® Heritage leather has an incredibly soft and supple hand-feel with a natural pebble grain and that amazing Horween® leather aroma! The hides are infused with premium waxes and oils to protect the surface and improve the touch of the leather with a light pull-up effect. The hides have a softer temper than most vegetable tanned leathers and are ideal for luggage and bags. Available in Brown & Tan.

The leather is tanned at the Horween® tannery in Chicago, IL, where they have been developing and creating premium leathers for more than 100-years (Since 1905). They are a five generation, family run company that we are proud to be working with. As true artisans of their craft, they are recognized world-wide as one of the premier tanners of leathers like horsehide, shell cordovan, NFL® football leather, basketball & baseball leathers and much more.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them! That’s why we design and build them to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the item.
