Made from our signature Horween® veg-tanned Dublin leather in a rich, chestnut color, the Portfolio No. 216 will include an insert from "Appointed" brand of Washington, DC, made In USA from premium paper and classic designs.

"This is a beautiful and heavy duty journal cover. There are a few quirks…for some reason my customized engraved initials are on the back cover. Not the front as shown in all photos. Also the snap button on the flap isn’t centered and it’s near the bottom of the closure strap. Since it’s custom made I didn’t want to make a big deal of it so I can live with the flaws. Note this does not come with a built in pen loop, so I found a stick-on pen loop in a stationary store that I put in to carry a pen. It’s sturdy and will last a lifetime. I’ve already gotten comments on it."
"I got one of these Americana Folios recently (see review below). When my wife saw it, she wanted one too. I ordered one for her, and had Coronado put her initials on it. When it came in, just a few days ago, my wife was genuinely pleased with it. She is using it and another, larger, stone-washed folio (from Coronado) that I also purchased for her. "This folio is a cut above in the leather used, and the construction/workmanship that goes into these portfolios. I love the Americana leather. It is smooth, but it is also full grain leather and you can see (and feel) the grain of the leather. The edges are all finished and smooth. The stitching is perfect and it compliments the leather very nicely. It is a great size for a personal folio. This folio is very elegant, with simple lines that indicate a serious attitude and degree of professionalism. This will never be mistaken for a cheap, run of the mill folio that is all too common in today's business environment. This is a very high quality, elegant, classy, personal portfolio that anyone would be proud to own and use."
