Horween® Football & CXL Folio Cases

A premium folio-case that will carry your personal laptop, tablet, iPad or other device along with extra space for a notepad, planners, etc.  . Designed with a gusseted side panel and a hinged flap with double snaps. The construction is designed to offer impact resistance with a back double-layered heavy "out-seam" that keeps the inside contents slightly higher. The gusseted side panel gives you enough room for an extra notepad, documents, magazines, etc. Use it inside your every-day bag or take it out to use individually as a folio case. The flap is smartly "hinged" to stay flat and secures with two German made Prym® brand snaps. The edges are hand-stained and polished and sewn with heavy No.277 industrial thread.

Horween® Leather has tanned the NFL Football Leather for more than 70 years. Arnold Horween Sr. developed and then produced the leather after playing professionally and then head coaching the Harvard football team. The leather is embossed to achieve the "football texture". The official football leather has a "tack" which allows for better gripping and is infused into the hide in a process called Tanned in Tack®. 
Our Football Folio's are made from Horween® Chromexcel® leather with the original football print. The texture and feel is very similar to the football leather but with a bit less "tack" to make them more practical for everyday use.

Chromexcel® is the original pull-up leather; using time honored techniques and formulas that were developed nearly 100 years ago.  Chromexcel® is still produced in the the world-renown Horween tannery in Chicago, using a bark retannage from a proprietary recipe, and then genuine hot stuffed with a blend of natural oils and greases. Chromexcel® is characterized by a rich pull-up in full aniline, hand rubbed finishes.  Made to this day with old world craftsmanship, modern Chromexcel® carries on a long history of superior comfort and durability.
