Our steerhide suede is a 3-3.5oz soft “garment grade” suede. Suede leather has a casual and slightly American Western appeal dating back to the 1960’s. Today it is used in luxury luggage, footwear and handbags. Suede is the section of the leather that sits under the “top grain”. When the split leather is exposed it is sanded and buffed in several stages to give the leather a fine velvet like “nap”. Without the top grain, suede leather is generally a drapey, soft leather. Because it is a suede or split leather, pours are more open and can absorb more oils, water and general dust/dirt. It’s best to avoid water, but a little rain won’t damage the leather. It’s best to embrace suede leathers and allow them to age, darken and “dirty up” a bit in a good way. You can clean with a suede brush or leather erasers.

We trim the bag with Horween® latigo leather, another US tanned steerhide with a smooth, sleek grain that compliments the texture of the bison. It is a 8/9oz. leather that is ideal for straps, handles and other areas of the bag that need to have minimal stretch and durability.

This product features our signature, key-locking pocket for CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon). The pocket is accessed from a key-locking zipper and will extend the length of the bag. The zipper has a built-in lock that includes two keys. When locked the compartment is safe and secure without any access to the nylon lined pocket. When unlocked, the zipper functions as normal.

A great option for safe and responsible concealed-carry, pepper spray or other PPD's, storing cash or other valuables. For concealed-carry, a removable and optional holster is included and is adjustable with a Velcro® hook&loop system.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them! That’s why we design and build them to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the item.
