No.12 Bison Heritage Billfold | Brown
The Bison Heritage Billfold No. 12 was our first hand-sewn wallet made from our signature "Shrunken Grain" American Bison leather. A traditional 6-card billfold design with card slots that can cary at minimum two in each.
Each billfold is precision die-cut from a heavier (6-8oz.) large grain "Shrunken" bison which is then split to the optimum thickness and reinforced with a clear-coat backing. The interior cards slots are the same bison while the bell separator panel is cut from a smooth steerhide with less stretch.
Each billfold is hand-sewn with traditional saddle-stitching techniques using heavy-duty Spanish waxed thread. The edges are sanded and beveled, stained and waxed all 100% by hand, all 100% in our San Diego factory.
CUT FROM THE NECK/SHOULDER OF THE BISON HIDE | Brown
Each front body is cut from the larger grain pattern on the "shoulder" of the bison hide. We trim each hide at the shoulder/neck area to maintain better grain consistency. The trimmed shoulder section of the hide is small but has the largest, boldest grain pattern, resembling an exotic skin.
