Our production runs for Limited Edition products are generally from 5-20 units, so they are quite small and very special. In most cases they are exclusively available on our website unless otherwise noted.

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop. It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory.  We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

Made from Vintage Horween® Horsehide leather and natural horse strips (trim, handles and straps).

Vintage Horsehide is tanned in Chicago, IL at the Horween® tannery. It is a light-weight leather (for luggage) at 3.5-4oz. It is a really unique and special leather that you won't find with larger brands. The hides are 100% vegetable tanned with heavier waxes to give the leather a rugged and distressed look. The light tan color body is complemented well with the heavyweight and light colored natural horse strips. The horse strips are also veg-tanned, but heavier with virtually little to no stretch, making them perfect for stress points and handles. 

Produced in the the world-renown Horween tannery in Chicago, since 1905.

Our “Stone-Washed Leather” was inspired by vintage Americana work-wear, denim jeans and leather goods from the 60s'-80's. The process is 100% unique and developed exclusively by us over several years, with the first production run made in the Summer of 2015. 

We start with a Horween® vegetable-tanned leather in a chestnut tan color. The products are built first, all in our San Diego, California leather shop. After construction, they are stone-washed in Los Angeles, where the company has been stone-washing denim jeans since the 1990’s.  Over the next 2-3 days, each product is brought back to life, involving several methods and steps to bring back the oils and lustre to the leather. There is no shortcut here, the process is 100% by hand and takes time and care. When they are ready, you will see rolled corners, darkened edges, creased flaps and changes in the grain, all making each product amazingly authentic and totally unique. 

The entire process, starting from the leather we use (Horween® tanned in Chicago), the construction (built in San Diego, CA) and the stone-washing (Los Angeles, CA) is 100% Made In The USA.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them!  That’s why we design and build them to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the item.
