Our best-selling Stone-Washed Briefcase #100 re-designed in the Summer 2023. Made from Horween leather of Chicago, built in San Diego and stone-washed in Los Angeles.

A timeless design with exterior saddle pockets with brass roller-buckles. Leather lined with no fabric and internal leather zipper and utility pockets.

Each briefcase built in San Diego and stone-washed in a 100-year old denim wash house in Los Angeles. They are sun-dried, oiled and waxed by hand all in our California leather shop to give them an authentic, vintage and aged appearance. The unique stone-washing is an exclusive process we have developed and perfected over the last 10-years. No two bags are alike and they are distinctly authentic with character and style. Finished with solid brass hardware, Ykk USA #10 brass zippers and each piece is marked with a unique 9-digit serial numbered to validate authenticity.

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop.

It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory. We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

Stone-Washed Leather

Our “Stone-Washed Leather” was inspired by vintage Americana work-wear, denim jeans and leather goods from the 60s'-80's. The process is 100% unique and developed exclusively by us over several years, with the first production run made in the Summer of 2015.

We start with a Horween® vegetable-tanned leather in a chestnut tan color. The products are built first, all in our San Diego, California leather shop. After construction, they are stone-washed in Los Angeles, where the company has been stone-washing denim jeans since the 1990’s. Over the next 2-3 days, each product is brought back to life, involving several methods and steps to bring back the oils and lustre to the leather. There is no shortcut here, the process is 100% by hand and takes time and care. When they are ready, you will see rolled corners, darkened edges, creased flaps and changes in the grain, all making each product amazingly authentic and totally unique.

The entire process, starting from the leather we use (Horween® tanned in Chicago), the construction (built in San Diego, CA) and the stone-washing (Los Angeles, CA) is 100% Made In The USA.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them! That’s why we design and build them to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the item.

Hello, Is there a way to see more interior photos of the Vintage Stone-Washed Briefcase? I am curious about the organizational ability. Thank you!: The "Stone-Washed" products have minimal lining and pockets because of the stone-washing process. This product does have an internal 8" zipper pocket, a leather card slot and on the opposite panel a leather patch pocket with a pen loop and a 4" wide open pocket.
