Not impressed. Leather not thick
"Not impressed. Leather not thick enough."

Our Vintage Embossed Horsehide Belt is special in so many ways. Although we have made variations of this, we have never hand-stained, embossed and stone-washed a belt.
We start with Horween® horsehide vegetable tanned leather in a stout 8/9oz. Each belt strip is cut to 1-½" wide then embossed with a vintage (60-70 years old, rebuilt roller press.. The 50-year old embossing plate is a An American Eagle pattern with the wings spanned out with great details. We then bevel the edges, hand stain the belt a light tan color and attach a solid-brass buckle that we import from Italy. The belts are then stone-washed them in Los Angeles and brought back for oiling and dressing. They are genuine vintage pieces that you will not find anywhere else.
The solid-brass buckle is attached with Chicago screws and sourced from an Italian hardware manufacturer in Florence, Italy. All 100% cut & finished in the USA.
