"I mostly use as my hiking/field vest. Considering the high number of pockets it has, the design and layout is exceptional. It most instances, wearing it eliminates the need to carry a backpack. The amount of pockets do make it pretty stiff in the beginning, but after a good amount of use, it breaks in nicely."
"This is my second vest from Coronado Leather. I was extremely impressed with my first purchase, the Indy Bison Ranchers Vest No. 39: the workmanship, the attention to detail, the overall quality. And the same is true of the gorgeous Kodiak Travelers Vest No 690 that just arrived today (the saddle tan version): everything about it says "quality". It's a bit more "formal" looking, and a bit lighterweight and more supple than the Ranchers Vest. Love the array of practical pockets. It's easy to see why so many of the reviews here talk about multiple purchases: Coronado Leather is the real thing."

"Wicked tough and soft beautiful rich leather. Feels and looks so good I want to wear it all the time. More pockets than I can keep track. Attention to detail is obvious. Minor complaint: The zipper pull chain on the breast pocket just doesn’t match up. Looks cheap, looks weak, not rugged, not very functional, and just doesn’t fit in with the world of goodness going on all around it! Gotta be a better solution. For now, I’ll rig something better. I’ve got skills! LOL I GIVE IT AN A PLUS! Lifetime vest I could pass down to one of my boys."

"Great vest, heavy duty, pockets, amazing. Only drawback is the zipper doesn’t feel like it’s going to hold up in the long run, probably will find someone who can sew on a heavy duty fully brass YKK. Also, I have a vintage satchel that is also extraordinary and it came with some leather conditioner. I called a couple weeks ago to ask what to use on the vest. Haven’t heard back yet, which is a little odd since your customer service thus far has been nothing short of amazing!"

"Really nice to use for travel. For plan travel, can put items in pockets, put vest in bag or in a tub and send through security. Get through security scan, pick-up vest put on and keep walking. Don't have to redress or put items back in pants pockets."
"I finally got my order it was promised a month and a half earlier and kept being set back. When it finally arrived the craftsmanship looks good but the fit is a little off,plenty of pockets and all, I won’t be able to wear it for a while because it is Summer here in Montana and it is really hot."
