The Austin Duffel No.007 is a classic and timeless shape that has been made in several leathers and variations by us for more than a decade. The design makes it a versatile piece that can be used in so many ways (gym bag, overnight bag, weekender). The latest No.007 version has been updated with additional side pockets, premium Japanese "shirting" quality lining and world-famous Horween® Chromexcel® leather. 

The black Horween® Chromexcel® is smooth, slick and polished with amazing leather scent and waxy semi-firm hand.  It's one of Horween's more well known and famous leathers. We trim the duffel with a brown Horween® latigo leather for the handles, accents and straps for durability and contrast. They are then finished with a stout Ykk USA #10 solid brass zipper and hardware.

HORWEEN® CHROMEXCEL®

Chromexcel® is the original pull-up leather; using time honored techniques and formulas that were developed nearly 100 years ago.  Chromexcel® is still produced in the the world-renown Horween tannery in Chicago, using a bark retannage from a proprietary recipe, and then genuine hot stuffed with a blend of natural oils and greases. Chromexcel® is characterized by a rich pull-up in full aniline, hand rubbed finishes.  Made to this day with old world craftsmanship, modern Chromexcel® carries on a long history of superior comfort and durability.
