The Grand Slam Backpack No.130 is a classic shape with great functionality. Designed with an extra-wide top opening that zips 27" around, two front gusset pockets, and a large front open pocket. The leather is relatively light-weight and the cotton canvas mixed in takes some weight off the bag. The inside includes an inside zipper pocket, laptop divider and fabric utility pockets.
An exclusive design that you will not find anywhere else, the Grand Slam Backpack is functional, handsome and 100% tanned & built in USA. Each bag is skillfully crafted with raw edges hand-stained and polished then stitched with precision. The Horween® brown latigo trim is sewn with extra-heavy beige No.277 industrial thread, the front pockets are secured with premium solid-brass buckles and the top zipper is a stout #10 brass Ykk USA zipper that will never break-down. An heirloom quality piece of luggage that you will be proud to own.

Constructed from a Limited Edition Horween® baseball glove leather. The same waxed glove leather you will find in the finest baseball gloves made today. We chose this leather NOT as a novelty but for it's pure feel, substance and smell! The hides are perfect for leather cases and accessories. It has just enough body or "temper" to give the case rigidity and structure without feeling too stiff and with very little stretch. It's a perfect balance of look, feel and structure. The leather is a comfortable 5-6oz. in a golden-tan color with a light pull-up effect. The best part is the "smell" of the leather will take you back to the ball game!
