First made for our 2003 Catalog and designed in collaboration with avid and experienced riders. The Rider Vest was built to be the best, with thought-out features that you won’t find with most vests. Features like wider-cut shoulders to keep the wind out, snap-up or down collar depending on the weather and a stout #10 Ykk brass zipper under a leather, snap-able wind flap.

Tanned In Milwaukee, WI | Distressed American Bison
This may be the coolest vest leather we have ever used. Exclusively tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the hides are buffed, & sanded after tanning to give them a very unique finish. A little heavier than our standard garment bison leather, the hides run around 3.5-4oz. in weight with a little firm temper.
In general, Bison leather is 20-30% tougher than comparable cowhide, making these hide ideal for a riding vest. Tough as nails and strong enough to hold up against the harshest elements, you can't go wrong with a Bison Vest.

CCW POCKET
As a leader and pioneer in CCW products, we have always placed a lot of attention in the CCW (concealed-carry weapon) pockets.
Each vest is built with dual concealed-carry pockets. The snap pockets are discretely built into the internal lining of the vest. The pockets are lined with ballistic-nylon lining and will include a removable and adjustable retention strap for the optimum position.
