Made In the U.S.A. Since 1999

In 1999 we started our first true "production manufacturing" in the United States. It started small with belts and luggage items, but this was the beginning of a dream and passion to have better control and quality of our products.

Today, we make the majority of our products right here in our San Diego, California leather shop. We proudly employ a small and talented group of craftsmen and women that build every Coronado Leather belt, wallet, duffel bag, messenger, briefcase and more! It's a challenge every day, but one we are proud of and embrace with passion in our craft. We truly want to build the absolute best products we can with exceptional craftsmanship and better designs.

Since 1981, our vests and jackets have been made in our original small shop in Baja Mexico, just thirty minutes from our San Diego factory. Nothing has or ever will be made over-seas. We design all of our vests & jackets in San Diego, then purchase our leathers, liners and hardware from the best sources from around the world. Mexico has a rich tradition in leather-craft with generations of incredibly skilled craftsmen that have learned from their fathers and grandfathers before them. We are fortunate to have some incredible men and women working for us in both our San Diego and Mexico shops.
