The Classic long wallet made in our signature black "Shrunken America Bison" leather and black Horween® horsehide leather inside. Add the optional antique-brass chain and custom hardware, all made in Italy.

CUT FROM THE NECK/SHOULDER OF THE BISON HIDE
Each wallet is cut from the larger grain pattern on the "shoulder" of the bison hide. We trim each hide at the shoulder/neck area to maintain better grain consistency. The trimmed shoulder section of the hide is small but has the largest, boldest grain pattern, resembling an exotic skin. Each wallet is individually embossed and logged with a unique serial# and edge finished by hand.

This is a 100% hand-sewn & traditional saddle stitched wallet. Stock may not be available at time of ordering and made-to-order in 5-7 days.
The wallet is precision-cut with steel dies then 100% hand-sewn with old-world, traditional saddle-stitching construction and ultra-heavy waxed Spanish thread. The edges are sanded, polished and waxed and each wallet is marked with a unique 9-digit serial number to authenticate the date of construction. An heirloom quality wallet that will live with you for decades.

Handsewn Saddle Stitched In USA

All of our wallets are proudly designed and built in our own San Diego, California leather shop. Each wallet is precision, die-cut and 100% saddle-stitched by hand, one at a time. We use premium, waxed hand-sewing thread, imported from Spain. After construction, they are individually finished with beveled, polished, stained and waxed edges all by hand.

Because our wallets are hand-sewn from 100% leather, without fabric liners or fillers, they will not only last longer but can be completely re-sewn and repaired even decades later. A true heirloom quality, handmade wallet that will last a lifetime.

The Leather

Our "Shrunken" American Bison is one of our favorite and most unique leathers. The hides are chrome and vegetable re-tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA) from bison hides that originated in North America. The leather goes through a complex tanning process that shrinks the hide to enhance the already bold natural grain of bison. The hides are lightly waxed prior to applying a "hot chromed mirror plate" to give them a unique, glassy sheen. The pebbled grain is not compromised and is 100% natural.

The finish of the leather has a subtle but sleek sheen with a two-toned "tipping" effect in the color. The Shrunken Bison is available in our classic "Walnut" or a deep jet “Black” in a full 6/7oz. weight. It is an extremely durable and incredibly unique leather.

We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the product.
