The Bison Heritage Card Case No.5 is a classic shape in a functional design from an amazing leather.

A handsome, premium crafted card wallet constructed from our signature shrunken bison leather and Horween® Latigo inside trim. Each billfold is precision die-cut, split to the optimum thickness and reinforced with a clear-coat backing. They are then hand-sewn with traditional saddle-stitching techniques using heavy-duty Spanish waxed thread. The edges are sanded and beveled, stained and waxed all 100% by hand in the USA

Handsewn Saddle Stitched In USA

All of our wallets are proudly designed and built in our own San Diego, California leather shop. Each wallet is precision, die-cut and 100% saddle-stitched by hand, one at a time. We use premium, waxed hand-sewing thread, imported from Spain. After construction, they are individually finished with beveled, polished, stained and waxed edges all by hand.

Because our wallets are hand-sewn from 100% leather, without fabric liners or fillers, they will not only last longer but can be completely re-sewn and repaired even decades later. A true heirloom quality, handmade wallet that will last a lifetime.

The Leather

We use a combination of two US tanned leathers. Our "Shrunken" American Bison is tanned in Milwaukee, WI and is one of our favorite and most unique leathers. The hides are between 5-7oz. and are chrome/vegetable re-tanned from bison hides that originated in North America. The leather goes through a complex tanning process that shrinks the hide to enhance the already bold natural grain of bison. Each hide has its own, 100% unique grain pattern much like our fingerprints. They are lightly waxed prior to applying a "hot chromed mirror plate" to give them a rich glossy sheen.

We finish this product with premium Horween® latigo leather, tanned in Chicago, IL since 1905. The hides are a smooth, flat grain steerhide in a full 7-9oz weight, making them not only a handsome contrast against the pebbled bison but ideal for straps, handles, trim and structured side panels.

We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the product.

Almost Perfect!

"I think this front wallet is 99% perfect. The size is perfect along with beautiful craftsmanship. It can carry about 6 cards and 15 to 20 bills at the same time or more cash less cards. My only suggestion to Coronado is that if you make the leather smooth on the inside of the center pocket it would allow bills to slide in and out much easier. I highly recommend this wallet."
