Our No.599 Utility Dopp #599 is an exclusive style made for all of your grooming and travel essentials. A square shape with a slightly rounded top and a 14", solid-brass Ykk #10 zipper (Made In USA). The interior opens wide and is fully lined with a 6" brass zipper pocket and two stitched down gusset pockets. Features a side latigo carry handle and wrap.

American "Shrunken Grain" Bison | Tanned & Built In USA
Built from our exclusive "Shrunken Grain" American Bison leather (Tanned in Milwaukee, WI) and trimmed with Horween® latigo (Tanned in Chicago, IL). The bison hides are put through a shrinking process to enhance the natural pebbling, giving the dopp a bold and masculine look.

Entirely hand-crafted in our San Diego, California factory from US tanned leathers.

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop.
It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory. We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

The Leather

We use a combination of two US tanned leathers. Our "Shrunken" American Bison is tanned in Milwaukee, WI and is one of our favorite and most unique leathers. The hides are between 5-7oz. and are chrome/vegetable re-tanned from bison hides that originated in North America. The leather goes through a complex tanning process that shrinks the hide to enhance the already bold natural grain of bison. Each hide has its own, 100% unique grain pattern much like our fingerprints. They are lightly waxed prior to applying a "hot chromed mirror plate" to give them a rich glossy sheen.

We finish this product with premium Horween® latigo leather, tanned in Chicago, IL since 1905. The hides are a smooth, flat grain steerhide in a full 7-9oz weight, making them not only a handsome contrast against the pebbled bison but ideal for straps, handles, trim and structured side panels.

Beautiful Shrunken Bison Leather

"This is a beautiful, little bag. The shrunk bison is drop dead gorgeous. The construction is first class. The liner is perfectly sewn into place. I can't find anything wrong with this bag at all. It is the perfect size for use as a dopp bag, or a shave kit. This little bag should last many lifetimes, it is so solidly built. Everything about it is top shelf!"
