"I was looking for a traditional style billfold without all of the bells and whistles-just to carry a few cards and some currency. Also, wanted a wallet that didn’t look crappy after a month’s use. I have a couple of other Coronado products so I knew where to go. The leather has a lovely sheen, not glossy like my shell clip wallet (which is also lovely!). I like that the brand information inside is blind stamped-very tasteful. The card pockets are quite tight-you need to be patient with them loosening up. I put 3 or 4 cards vertically in a pocket and leave it that way overnight. They’re slowly starting to give a little. It’s a lot better than having the cards fall out unexpectedly as with some wallets."
