The No.830 DESIGN & DETAILS
The No.830 is our exclusive, vintage inspired "long wallet" offered with our without the 18" brass chain. It is precision-cut with steel dies and 100% hand-sewn with old-world, traditional saddle-stitching construction and premium waxed Spanish thread, entirely in our San Diego, CA factory. The edges are sanded, polished and waxed and each wallet is marked with the item number and the month it was built.
The inside includes six card slots (each can hold up to 2 cards) a full-length bill slot and a 6" brass cutout zipper pocket that opens to the full length and width of the body. The No.830 is a true heirloom quality wallet that will live with you for decades.

STONE-WASHED HORWEEN® STEERHIDE | Indigo & Natural
The stone-washed No.830 has immediate character and age with a worn-in look but a new body. Built from a combination of genuine Horween® vegetable tanned steerhide in a deep indigo blue with natural veg horsehide trim and pockets, they are then stone-washed in a 100-year old denim wash house in Los Angeles, CA. After construction and washing, we hand-oil, wax and condition each wallet to give it a worn and aged appearance, while softening the leather.

Like all of our products, we build our wallets to last, but after years of use even the best leathers and threads can wear down. Because there are NO SYNTHETIC LINERS or FILLERS, our handsewn wallets are 100% recraftable where the far majority of wallets are not. There is a reasonable cost, but we can rebuild and recraft your wallet for life. Just another reason to buy a genuine, handsewn wallet.

Handsewn Saddle Stitched In USA

All of our wallets are proudly designed and built in our own San Diego, California leather shop. Each wallet is precision, die-cut and 100% saddle-stitched by hand, one at a time. We use premium, waxed hand-sewing thread, imported from Spain. After construction, they are individually finished with beveled, polished, stained and waxed edges all by hand.

Because our wallets are hand-sewn from 100% leather, without fabric liners or fillers, they will not only last longer but can be completely re-sewn and repaired even decades later. A true heirloom quality, handmade wallet that will last a lifetime.

Stone-Washed Leather

Our “Stone-Washed Leather” was inspired by vintage Americana work-wear, denim jeans and leather goods from the 60s'-80's. The process is 100% unique and developed exclusively by us over several years, with the first production run made in the Summer of 2015.

We start with a Horween® vegetable-tanned leather in a chestnut tan color. The products are built first, all in our San Diego, California leather shop. After construction, they are stone-washed in Los Angeles, where the company has been stone-washing denim jeans since the 1990’s. Over the next 2-3 days, each product is brought back to life, involving several methods and steps to bring back the oils and lustre to the leather. There is no shortcut here, the process is 100% by hand and takes time and care. When they are ready, you will see rolled corners, darkened edges, creased flaps and changes in the grain, all making each product amazingly authentic and totally unique.

The entire process, starting from the leather we use (Horween® tanned in Chicago), the construction (built in San Diego, CA) and the stone-washing (Los Angeles, CA) is 100% Made In The USA.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them! That’s why we design and build our products to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the product.
