The No.007 Duffel is a classic and timeless shape that we have been making for more than two decades. The size and design makes it a versatile piece that can be used in so many ways (gym bag, overnight bag, weekender). It is carry-on compliant and large enough to pack for a long weekend.

Features include double rolled and polished carry handles, two side open pockets, a 14" inside zipper pocket, two heavy-duty reinforced handles and a full-length and adjustable "guitar-style" shoulder strap.

A Limited Edition version with only x10 Sets made in May 2026. The body is made from a premium, 5oz. suede steerhide, tanned in Milwaukee, WI. The handles, trim and feet are made from a smooth and stout 7/8oz. genuine Horween® latigo leather, tanned in Chicago, Illinois.

The exclusive design blends some of our classic duffel features along with old-world artisanal craftsmanship and modern design details, making for an exceptional and unique heirloom quality duffel that won't be found anywhere else. Every step of the process is made in our San Diego leather shop, from design, cutting, hand-polishing and sewing.

The Coyote Suede leather is NEW for 2026 but we will only do one run this year.

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop. It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory. We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

The Leather

Built from a full-grain (7-9oz.) Horween® tan latigo leather and a 5oz. US tanned steerhide suede. The suede is a full 5oz. in weight with a firm temper. It is waterproofed at the tannery and has a rich, velvet like nap. The Horween® leather is tanned in Chicago, IL and our suede is custom-tanned in Milwaukee, WI

We love building products a lot more than repairing them! That’s why we design and build them to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the item.

Founded in 1981 and still based in San Diego, Coronado Leather is an American brand focused on making premium leathergoods that are built for life. This product was made by us, a small team of less than twenty proud designers, creators and artisans of leather goods in San Diego, California.

This is our second home and our passion. A shop of talented men and women building American made products the way they used to be made. Our products are crafted in small batch quantities and in no way mass produced. We select the finest leathers, mostly from the US with some select leathers from Italy and Germany. We use solid-brass hardware from Italy and the US, premium Ykk USA zippers and other custom hardware.

The stitching is precise and intentional with tonal and contrasting threads. we hand stain and polish raw edges and hand-set the majority of our rivets.
American made quality that matter and shows in every product we make.
