The ISO Horsehide Portfolios are a new and exclusive set of folios offered in four different sizes. They are designed around ISO paper and notepad sizing, the most the most commonly recognized globally (A4, A5, A6 & B5). Each Portfolio is made specifically for one of the four sizes and will include a starter notepad in the appropriate size. Slide the portfolio into your briefcase, messenger or use as a stand alone portfolio. The horsehide used is sleek and lightweight, making it an ideal leather for small cases.
The streamlined design is slim but functional enough to accomodate a laptop/iPad, multiple notepads, a journal, pen, business cards and a ruler slot on the back panel. The flap is double-layered and secured with a brass snap. The interior of the portfolios will have two full-size openings with the top pocket cut taller to slide in a laptop or iPad. Other features include an inside pen loop, a card slot and a back 1" oval slot cut-out to conveniently store a slim ruler.
Horween® Chicago Waxed Flesh Horsehide | Limited Edition x10
Horween Chicago Chromexcel® Horsehide is a rare and not widely distributed leather. This unique tannage has been run by Horween® periodically for decades but is new to us. It's a very lightweight leather due to the thickness and tanning characteristics, but extremely durable being a full-grain horsehide leather.
