The No.81 Vaquero Jacket is latest American Western inspired jacket introduced in our Fall of 2026. The design is a Coronado Leather exclusive with a combination of vintage and original design details that make the Vaquero a unique style with an exceptional fit. Each jacket is built by artisans that have been making leather goods for decades. Crafted in small batch quantities and in no way mass produced, each jacket is cut by hand, one hide at a time. The stitching is precise and intentional with tonal and contrasting threads that showcase the attention to detail.
The front western curved yokes are double-stitched with a combination of contrast and tonal threads and trimmed with contrasting leather piping.
The No.81 Vaquero Jacket Fit
The fit of the No.81 Vaquero Jacket was as important for us as the design. An often overlooked detail, we patterned the fit to be more tailored and slightly fitted, the way an American Western jacket should be. The body is cut longer than our traditional bombers and the sleeves are higher to prevent front bunching, all to give the jacket a more refined and tailored fit.
PREMIUM NUBUCK STEERHIDE | Coyote Tan
This version is made from a supple & drapey 3-3.5oz. buffed steerhide (NUBUCK) in a garment grade tannage. The leather is sanded and buffed to give the surface a suede-like appearance in a more durable top-grain steerhide. Tanned in a matte, Coyote Tan color and trimmed with genuine American bison in a dark chocolate. Finished with a durable, lightweight and breathable 100% cotton ripstop lining (5oz) in a dark khaki color.

We use American made Ykk zippers and premium 100% cotton ripstop lining that is lightweight, breathable and durable.
