Made from our signature American Bison leather (Tanned in Milwaukee, WI) and trimmed with Horween® latigo (Tanned in Chicago, IL). The bison hides are put through a shrinking process to enhance the natural pebbling. The Top-Zip Backpack is our exclusive design with an easy-access zipper flap that opens extra-wide. The two front pockets are secured with solid-brass buckles and roomy enough for chargers, notepads, pouches and more. Built with multiple inside pockets, a 6" zipper pocket, a side D-Ring and loop and our key-locking back CCW pocket. The inside snap pocket is large enough to accommodate up to a 15" laptop.

"When I retired many years ago, I transferred all those “necessary” items from the middle desk drawer to a very large Maxpedition Versa-Pack. Plus I added more “necessary” items and boosted the weight. The weight had become a problem along with the volume of contents. Then I saw the Zip-Top Bison Back Pack #745. Looked like the solution to my problems. After winnowing the contents to absolute essentials, even the weight of the leather doesn’t approach the weight I used to carry. Plus the backpack two strap style distributes the weight (such as it is) much better than a single shoulder strap. And the Bison Back Pack is truly distinctive and really classy. I just grab it up when I head to my vehicle, put it on the passenger seat and I’m off."
