Our Bison Weekender #505 showcases the unique beauty of our signature "Shrunken" Bison leather. Accented with smooth, contrasting Horween® latigo strapping leather, lined with a grey/red/black tartan plaid and finished with solid brass (gunmetal finish) hardware. This exclusive design is an ideal size for 3-4 days on the road or a weekend trip. Finished with refined details like hand-polished edges the weekender is built tough with oversized brass #10 zippers and durable bonded nylon thread.

This black bison version was made as a Limited Edition run with only (10) made. The hardware is solid-brass in an antique gunmetal finish and tonal, larger 138-bonded nylon thread.

Each bag is individually serial numbered and logged to validate its authenticity as a true Coronado Leather heirloom quality luggage piece.

It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory. We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

The Leather

Our "Shrunken" American Bison is one of our favorite and most unique leathers. The hides are chrome and vegetable re-tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA) from bison hides that originated in North America. The leather goes through a complex tanning process that shrinks the hide to enhance the already bold natural grain of bison. The hides are lightly waxed prior to applying a "hot chromed mirror plate" to give them a unique, glassy sheen. The pebbled grain is not compromised and is 100% natural.

The finish of the leather has a subtle but sleek sheen with a two-toned "tipping" effect in the color. The Shrunken Bison is available in our classic "Walnut" or a deep jet “Black” in a full 6/7oz. weight. It is an extremely durable and incredibly unique leather.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them! That’s why we design and build them to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the item.

Limited edition bag

"Overall the bag was nice, however the flap that snaps around the two carrying handles is already coming off. For a bag this expensive, I wouldn't expect this. I also think that there should have been a luggage strap included. When traveling, this bag can get heavy and tends to fall off. I would add a simple strap that goes around the handle on a carry on bag."
