Our Cheyenne Suede Vest is patterned from our best-selling Bison Garrison Vest. An exclusive design that is skillfully hand-cut with western style front and back yokes in contrasting American "Indy" bison and a light-weight tan suede leather. The NEW Limited Edition vest is sharp and masculine with a bold contrasting mix of leathers. Less than (30) made in our first-edition offering (May 2024).

The design is a classic and exclusive western style with details like a back cinch buckle, side slits, decorative Buffalo Nickel snaps and a pocket-watch pouch and loop. Made from contrasting brown leathers (Full grain dark brown steerhide and a lighter brown suede). Other features include our "vintage" inspired pinstripe cotton lining, multiple inside zipper and wallet pockets and our dual signature CCW pockets and holster.

  • Our steerhide suede is a 3-3.5oz soft “garment grade” suede. Suede leather has a casual and slightly American Western appeal dating back to the 1960’s. Today it is used in luxury luggages, footwear and for us, Western vests and jackets. Suede is the section of the leather that sits under the “top grain”. When the split leather is exposed it is sanded and buffed in several stages to give the leather a fine velvet like “nap”. Without the top grain, suede leather is generally a drapey, soft leather. Because it is a suede or split leather, pours are more open and can absorb more oils, water and general dust/dirt. It’s best to avoid water, but a little rain won’t damage the leather. It’s best to embrace suede leathers and allow them to age, darken and “dirty up” a bit in a good way. You can clean with a suede brush or leather erasers.
