The Field Duffel #300 was introduced in the summer of 2024. One of our newest duffel bag designs that is exclusive and unique. The square shape is a vintage inspired design that we developed with our leathers, hardware and the Coronado Leather look. Large enough to be considered a full-size duffel but with a deceivingly smaller footprint. The square body it taller and with a wider base than our other duffels, but not as long. This makes the #300 easier to maneuver through airports, trains and cars but with the capacity to carry like a full-size duffel.
The exclusive design blends some of our classic duffel features along with old-world artisanal craftsmanship and modern design details. We use a combination of three leathers, Horween® Limited Edition Black Football Leather, Chromexcel® and Horween® Shell Cordovan. The handle wraps, zipper pulls and D-ring holders are made from Horween® shell cordovan to add a unique touch of style.
We build each bag tough and durable starting with dual top carry handles reinforced with steel bars for structure and weight support and structure. We install solid brass (gunmetal finish) hardware, premium oversized gunmetal luggage zippers made in Georgia (Ykk USA) and a 8oz. plaid (Blk/Blue/Grey) tartan lining. The interior includes a 14" long zipper for dirty clothes or small accessories and a 6" zipper pocket for a passport, documents or other valuables.

It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory. We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country. We do this the right way, in respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century that have laid the groundwork for us to make our legacy.

The Leather

Our Horween® football leather is the same steerhide (not pigskin anymore) used in the authentic NFL® game balls. Horween® Leather has tanned the NFL Football Leather for more than 70 years. Arnold Horween Sr. developed and then produced the leather after playing professionally and then head coaching the Harvard football team. The leather is embossed to achieve the unique "football texture". The official football leather has a "tack" which allows for better gripping and is infused into the hide. The leather we use for our products will not have the “Tack” but everything else is exactly the same as the authentic leather used in NFL® Footballs

Chromexcel ® is one of Horween’s original and most popular leathers. For decades tanneries have tried to replicate the look and feel of genuine Horween® Chromexcel®, without success.

For over 90 years, Horween® Leather Company has used the same artisanal hot-stuffing formula to infuse these leathers with an oil and wax blend to create an extremely rich and durable leather, which is then hand-stained. This heritage leather features the natural leather grain, exhibits a rich pull-up, and retains softness and color for generations.

As true artisans of their craft, they are recognized world-wide as one of the premier tanners of leathers like horsehide, shell cordovan, NFL® football leather, basketball & baseball leathers and much more.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them! That’s why we design and build our products to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the product.
