No.545 Natural SD Briefcase | Horween® Horsehide & Latigo

The No.545 is a new and exclusive design introduced in 2026. A classic shape and size with a slightly more modern feel. Built with a full 3/4 zip-around face, dual shorter carry handles, a back suede-lined 11" pocket and a well designed and functional internal body that features an 11" brass zipper, 6" brass zipper pocket and three leather utility pockets.  

LIMITED EDITION  x10 Made | Horween® Natural Horsehide & Tan
This is a special and very limited version featuring two exceptional Horween® leathers. Made from their veg-tanned Dublin in a deep indigo blue and trimmed with a rich saddle tan "Steamed" latigo steerhide, a new leather from Horween®. The contrast of the two leathers pair together so well. 
Every detail is well thought out in this version. We use a vintage inspired Universal brand brass zipper that is made in Japan, along with the lining. The 10oz. herringbone cotton lining is as good as you will find in a bag. It is made by Yoshiwa Millls in Japan is a shuttle loom woven fabric, for supreme quality. All the rivets are hand-set, solid brass "Bull" rivets. The most durable rivets we have found, are not only nearly impossible to fail, but can only be installed by a human hand, one at a time.

We made a total of (10) in this FIRST EDITION. No immediate plans to make the exact version again this season. 

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop. It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory.  We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

Our Horween® Natural Horsehide leather is a 100% vegetable tanned horse front, tanned in Chicago, Illinois. A lightweight horse front (4oz.) in a true natural (no dyes colors added). Like all true naural veg-tanned leathers, expect the leather to patina and darken to a rich golden tan color over the years.

Horween® horsehide is a true "Artisan" tanned leather made from domestic US hides and tanned, start to finish, in the USA since 1905.

We love building products a lot more than repairing them!  That’s why we design and build them to last. We want the product to give you a lifetime of use, but if they fail due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair the product or replace it at little or no charge for the life of the item.
