The No.545 is a new and exclusive design introduced in 2026. A classic shape and size with a slightly more modern feel. Built with a full 3/4 zip-around face, dual shorter carry handles, a back suede-lined 11" pocket and a well designed and functional internal body that features an 11" brass zipper, 6" brass zipper pocket and three leather utility pockets.

LIMITED FIRST EDITION x10 Made | Horween® Chromexcel®
This version is made from genuine Horween® Chromexcel® in a Black on Black. Chromexcel® is one Horween's premiere and most complex leathers to tan. The smooth and sleek finish is more refined with a modern look even though it was first made in 1914, more than a century ago in Chicago. Today Chromexcel® is still hand-crafted by Horween® in Chicago, using the same processes and formulations as they did in 1914. Rich blends of hot oils, waxes, and greases are impregnated into the leather giving it not only a great feel but a unique pull up effect and a firm temper to make it ideal for bags and luggage.
We use Chromexcel® with a natural (tan color) backing or "crust" to give the leather a teacore look after it's been worn for years. The tan crust color will slowly come to the surface on the corners, edges and other wear spots over time. This creates a genuine vintage "teacore" look as it patinas. You can use shoe polish or simple leather dies to touch-up these natural effects, but our feeling is the leather is designed for this and let it age as it was meant.

Japanese Lining | Italian Hardware & Brass Rivets
The 10oz. herringbone cotton lining is as good as you will find in a bag. It is made by Yoshiwa Millls in Japan is a shuttle loom woven fabric, for supreme quality. We finish the entire bag with solid-brass hardware, almost entirely from Italy and the rivets are hand-set, solid brass "Bull" rivets. The most durable available and nearly impossible to fail, but can only be installed by a human hand, one at a time.

This product is a Limited Edition item that is not always available. Our production runs for Limited Edition products are generally from 5-20 units, so they are quite small and very special. In most cases they are exclusively available on our website unless otherwise noted.

This product was proudly designed, cut and sewn in our San Diego, California leather shop. It has been built entirely by our employees 100% (start to finish), in our own factory. We don’t “partially assemble” our products in another country then label them MADE IN USA. In respect to all the American manufacturers over the last century, we do it the right way, honest and true American manufacturing.

The Leather

Made from Horween® Chromexcel ®, one of their most popular and exclusive leathers. Chromexcel® is considered the “original” pull-up leather, with a unique smooth and sleek finish, a rich sheen and the distinctive high and low color tones within the hide.

The hides are finished with a "hot-plating" to give them a smoother surface, a rich lustre and a light sheen. You will notice a slight "pull-up" effect with light undertones and a wonderful "leather" smell. Entirely tanned at the Horween® tannery in Chicago, USA.

Dublin is a true "Artisan" tanned leather made from domestic US hides and tanned, start to finish, in the USA since 1905.
