Daily Drive
"This bag immediately became one of my daily favorites. It’s made leaving the house a lot easier, especially when I’m in a hurry. Doing construction/carpentry, I no longer forget my notebook, business cards, tape measure and a few other small things I’ll sometimes need because I am able to just grab my bag and go! I was a little disappointed when by Bison Portfolio Planner (#216) didn’t fit in it, but what are you gonna do, I still love both products and use them quite a bit."

The EDC bag I've been waiting for finally arrived!
"About a year ago, I contacted Coronado Leather to ask if they had a smaller crossbody bag that could be used for everyday carry items such as glasses, pens, flashlights, ear-buds, etc. I wanted something smaller than Coronado's No. 22 Crossbody bag that's sized for tablets or laptops, but larger than their utility pouches. The Jackson Crossbody Bag is what I hoped they'd make - and they did! The size of the bag - my measurements - is ~ 9" wide x 10.5" high. There's ample room in each of the three nicely finished compartments that conveniently zip rather than close with a clasp like the No 22. The large main pocket has a smaller zip compartment for smaller items such as flashlights, earbuds, etc. that's very handy. The front pocket is great for stowing glasses, phone, credit cards and items one needs to reach quickly. The large main pocket is great for holding a gear organizer such as those made by SpecOps or other Molle add-ons. I use mine for a flashlight, mask, pen, hand sanitizer, etc. The rear pocket is designed for concealed carry but large enough to store a small tablet, documents or similar items. The buffalo leather has beautifully rich finish and smell, nicely complemented by the Horween trim. I have several other Coronado bags that have set my expectations of what I'll get when I order a Coronado product, and the Jackson Crossbody met those expectations in every way. There are a few areas for improvement that I hope Coronado will consider, including: 1. Lack of a carry handle - the No 22 bag has a nice handle at the top of the case that makes grabbing it easy and convenient. The Jackson Crossbody has no handle and instead relies upon the crossbody strap for picking it up. I added a titanium chain to mine for this purpose and it works well, but a handle, either on the side or top, should be added for convenience. 2. Lack of a loop or other means to secure crossbody strap's end - when adjusting the length of the crossbody strap, it tends to flop around. This could be resolved by adding a brass or leather loop to secure the end in place.. 3. Fixed crossbody strap - the strap is fixed in place and can't be detached, unlike the No 22 bag. If this were changed, carrying the bag would be more convenient. Apart from these caveats, this is a fantastic bag that met all of my expectations and is ideal for everyday carry and small items needed during a flight, on the train or in one's car, or when walking. I'd like to have the same bag in black buffalo leather, and highly, highly recommend its purchase."
