Pinnacle Horsehide is tanned in Chicago, IL at the Horween® tannery. It is a light-weight horsehide with a butter softer temper and a waxy finish. This is one of our lighter weight and drapiest leathers that is comfortable and does not need any break-in out of the box. It is a smooth, natural grain with a light sheen on the surface. Our sleekest looking leather, that has the durability of horsehide with a more refined appearance.

A good choice if you prefer a lightweight leather for casual wear and a mild climate.

The Raglan No.410 is straight cut through the body but the elastic wool knit will cinch in at the waist and cuffs. The cut is very much a vintage inspired design with a short waist-length cut and a full size collar. Overall the cut is a little looser feeling, especially around the stomach but cut to look slimmer.

THIS IS GOOD IF: You like ease of movement and/or you wear layers underneath. Looser around the stomach and lower torso with a shorter, waist length body. Good if you are shorter, tuck your shirt in or prefer a waist-length jacket with elastic knit bottom and cuffs.

Our vests and jackets are US sized in what we consider to be “TRUE TO SIZE”. Because our garments are graded in US even number sizes, they move up and down in smaller increments. 

In general, you should order 1-2” larger than your “upper chest” measurement. This also  depends on your "Fit Preference", so consider what you will wear under the vest and how you prefer the fit (slim tapering or full cut).  If you will layer with the jacket or live in a colder climate, you may want to lean towards 2-3" more than your chest. In most cases 1-2" above the largest section of your torso would be your "Order Size".

TALL CUT
A “Tall Cut” Vest will be 2” longer (front and back). Nothing else changes.
A "Tall Cut” Jacket will be 2” longer in the body and 1” longer in the sleeve.

Although alpha sizing is very different by manufacturer, a loose comparison would be as follows;
